Having grown up in Northern Michigan, just a couple of miles from where Hemingway grew up, I have always felt a sort of kinship with the guy. Then to find that he spent time in and around my town of Cody, Wyoming and on our stomping grounds just the other side of the border, only fosters this connection.
The final fulfillment of my dream will be to walk in his footsteps in Paris, France. Maybe next year. Until then, I’ll continue to read and study his methods in dialogue and storytelling.
