Welcome to my cozy country life. I am Diane Whitlock, author of children’s picture books and women’s literary fiction shaped by landscape, faith, memory, and all the small moments that change us.
I live on a ranch in Northwest Wyoming with my love of forty-two years. We have three beautiful grown daughters. My grandchildren inspire me to laugh, to keep cutting, pasting, fingerpainting, and writing silly songs and stories to keep us close in our hearts. My favorite word is family!

Professional Work
Over 35 years of experience in music, youth, and women’s ministry has helped me serve as a motivational speaker for churches, women’s groups, and local clubs.
As an entrepreneur, my partner and I have launched several businesses, including a Jeep adventure company, a coffee roasting company, and a successful boutique bakery, Claire’s French Bakery.
My written work has appeared in local magazines and on this website blog, with a published work, Eat Like A Local Cody, available on Amazon.
As a singer/songwriter, I love to perform many of my ballads at songwriting festivals, local bars, and churches —that is, when I’m not feeding my sourdough starter and laying hens, brushing my wonder horse, or penning the next great novel.
